Early Artistry
JWX's artistic roots stretch back to childhood in the San Francisco Bay Area, where they spent hours drawing and painting before getting their hands on the family digital camera.
"My parents were really open to me exploring different interests as a child and teen, so I had the freedom to pursue a lot of creative activities."
By middle school, JWX's creative interests had evolved beyond pen and paper to a focus on his digital creations, which was when they convinced their mom to buy them a DSLR camera.
While their high school and college years were marked by images of street and documentary-style photography, a shift toward erotic photography began after graduation.
However, unlike many photographers in the genre, this hobby would remain a passion project rather than a for-profit career. "I don't technically pursue it as a career, and I make absolutely no money out of it! But I enjoy it a lot, and that's why I keep doing it."
