Today, we chat with Patrick Lupinski, a Brooklyn-based photographer, producing some of our favorite black-and-white art featuring the male form in its raw and unfiltered glory. During our conversation, we discuss the complexities of nude art and the importance of context, the creative process and the significance of self-expression in the queer community. Patrick also opens up about the electricity behind the scenes of his shoots, admitting sometimes “boners happen.” We also touch on the challenges of self-censorship in the age of social media and the need for deeper engagement with art beyond surface-level interpretations. Check out Patrick’s work in his Artist Spotlight here!
